Species 8472 are a tripod race that live in a matter that is fluidic. They live in Bioships that have enough firepower that can destroy an entire borg fleet. They're species is telepathic and can give fatal blows to their victims. In the 2370's Spcs 8472 launches an invasion fleet to the Alpha Quad with over 100 ships.

Discuss here on all of their tactics and probable reasons for their invasion of the Alpha Quadrant.
