The USS Defiant is destroyed by the Dominion was it ever rebuilt? Or did they discontinue the production of the Defiant class Ship? I think they will rebuild it just encase the Federation gets in a tight situation again.

I have recently finished the seventh season of DS9 and they do end up building another Defiant Class ship.
